THE Southern Grampians Shire Council ran an unscheduled online meeting on Friday afternoon to approve variations on the budget for the widening of Port Fairy Road and its connection to the Hamilton Industrial Land sub-division.
The original contract was awarded in December 2020 to Mibus Bros for a budget of $691,124.45 (ex GST) and works have already progressed through earthworks, subbase and subgrade preparation, concrete works, existing driveway and drainage works.
