Standout cadet to compete nationally

WITH a high degree of motivation that has changed his life, Cadet Corporal, Lachlan ‘Lachie’ Barber has been selected for the Chief of Army Cadet Team Challenge as one of only 10 cadets representing Victoria. WHEN Lachlan Barber, 17, joined the 315 Army Cadet Unit (ACU) in Hamilton in early February last year, it might not have been obvious ‘Lachie’ was on his way to be a high achiever.
