RESIDENTS on Thompson Street between French Street and Martin Street were left without power briefly on Sunday morning when a large oak tree fell from the Hamilton Botanic Gardens. THOMPSON Street was blocked off for several hours on Sunday after an oak tree in the Hamilton Botanic Gardens fell over the road in the middle of the night.
