LATE night revellers walking home on Christmas Eve were likely responsible for the destruction of several ornamental trees that line Pope Street in Hamilton, after witnesses observed the trees had been snapped on Christmas morning. AN elderly couple who resides in Grosvenor Place, Hamilton, have been left traumatised after awaking to a burglar in their home in the early hours of Saturday, December 17.
