CWA recognition for Doris Lanyon

RECENTLY seen being celebrated at the Cally is Doris Lanyon (front, centre) and her long involvement with local Hamilton branches of the Country Women’s Association (CWA) since 1960. Doris has been active in the CWA for about 75 years in total. Other local members wanted to formally recognise her contributions before she moved away to Linton. With her are (back, from left) Heather Napier, Liz Hinchey, Coral Burland, (front, left) Barbara Trimnell, and (front, right) Bett Basham. LARA FITZPATRICK. (Front) Barbara Trimnell, Doris Lanyon and Bett Basham.

RECENTLY a lunch was held by members of the local Country Women’s Association (CWA) to honour the many years of service by Doris Lanyon before she left Hamilton one last time, having been her home since 1960.
