Petition against parking meters tabled 

THE Hamilton Regional Business Association submitted a petition with 2227 signatures against the parking meters at Southern Grampians Shire Council’s ordinary June council meeting on Wednesday night. AS parking officers began prowling the CBD for unpaid parking this week, contention around the parking meters appears to be abating, with Council committing to the installation of nine more parking meters in late July.
