COVID-19 exposure sites identified in Hamilton

WESTERN District Health Service will run a mass-testing clinic at the Hamilton Showgrounds today, after it was advised on Tuesday that a positive COVID-19 case had been working at a Hamilton construction site last week.

EXPOSURE SITES IN SOUTHERN GRAMPIANS

The following exposure sites have been identified in Hamilton AT TIME OF PRINT (Wednesday 22.09.2021).

Please note: Some sites may not yet be listed on the Department of Health exposure sites website. If you have been to any site listed on this post, please get tested and follow the instructions provided:

– Tier 1: Test and isolate for 14 days, regardless of the result

– Tier 2: Test and isolate until you receive a negative result

The WDHS Drive-thru testing clinic is operating with extended hours tomorrow – 10am to 4pm. **********EXPOSURE SITES UPDATE 22/9 2pm

*Please note the KFC & McDonalds drive-thru exposure sites listed below are Tier 2 for all staff on shift during the exposure periods (as the person who has since tested positive remained in their vehicle during the listed exposure times).

Anyone who has COVID-19 symptoms or has been to an exposure site should get tested, and follow the Department of Health’s instructions. It’s also an important step to get vaccinated if you are eligible and want to help protect the community, while also staying informed on outbreaks and exposure sites as the situation develops.
