THE Rocklands Reservoir, a popular tourist camping and recreation attraction located East of Balmoral, will be featured and streamed nationally on this Sunday’s episode of ‘The Fishing Show’.

Hosted by nationally recognised fishing personalities, Nigel Webster and Bill Classon, the Australia Fishing Network show has featured 13 seasons of spectacular fishing hints from all over Australia, including the second largest reservoir in Victoria, the Rocklands.

The Southern Grampians Shire Council (SGSC) said the fishing crew stepped foot at the end of last year at the popular fishing location and had great success.

“We’re delighted to announce that Rocklands Reservoir, one of our most popular camping and recreational destinations, will be featured on this Sunday’s episode of The Fishing Show,” a SGSC spokesperson said.

“We welcomed Bill Glasson and his crew late last year to fish in our waters which are considered by Fisheries Victoria to be ‘on the verge of greatness’, having more fish stocked than anywhere else in Australia.

“The crew reeled in some impressive ‘Rocklands gold’ describing their haul as some of the cleanest fish they’ve ever caught.”

The episode will be aired tomorrow at 12pm on 7Mate, and the full video will be available on the Council website soon after the airing for those that missed it.
