REGIONAL Victoria has entered its toughest lockdown to date, with premier, Daniel Andrews, giving just two hours’ notice that regional Victoria would again join Melbourne in lockdown on Saturday afternoon.

With cases in Shepperton growing quickly on Friday and Saturday, Mr Andrews said there was a high chance the virus had spread to other regional towns and the advice of health authorities was there was no other decision but to lockdown the entire state.
