Award nominee looks to the future

ALTHOUGH Dunkeld woman, Kelly Barnes missed out on winning the AgriFutures Rural Women’s National Award earlier this week, she is upbeat about the future of her local Working Dog Training School and the scope of its associated mental health program. 

The winner was announced on Wednesday – Broome lawyer, social innovator and co-founder of Saltwater Country, Cara Peek; with the artisan cheesemaker from NSW, Cressida Cains the runner up.
