Spring the busiest time of year for wildlife shelter

ONE-WEEK-OLD Australian mountain ducklings are currently in the care of Hamilton Wildlife Shelter operator, Shelly Burrowes, after they were orphaned from two sets of parents. With spring as her busy season, Ms Burrowes has much advice to give locals on what to do if they come across an animal that’s been injured or in unusual circumstances. See story page 3.
