Fix our road

GATHERING at the crest of the hill with the wavering line of the Coleraine-Edenhope Road behind them, a crowd of concerned locals lent their support to 10-year-old Gus McCure (front, sixth from left) who recently wrote a letter to Lowan MP, Emma Kealy (standing next to Gus), highlighting the need for the State Government to fund major repairs to the southern-most section of the road. Gus’ letter was read out in parliament by Ms Kealy who said the “incredibly dangerous” road needed to be fixed. Photo: MARK RABICH.
