Free nursing and midwife degrees 

THE opportunity for undergraduate and post graduate nurses and midwives to obtain scholarships and HECS free study was announced by the Victorian premier Daniel Andrews on Sunday which was also matched by the Opposition. Premier Andrews said the health system had suffered under the strain of COVID-19, however the Opposition said the health system had been in crisis long before the pandemic. Pictured are WDHS nurses. LOCAL students considering a career in nursing and Enrolled Nurses (EN) wishing to complete Registered Nurse training now have further incentive to purse a nursing or midwifery career through HECS free degrees and scholarships under a new initiative announced by the Victorian premier, Dan Andrews on Sunday.
