Vale Lloyd Hocking 

ANOTHER one of Hamilton’s much-loved local identities passed away last week. Lloyd Hocking was a colourful character with a myriad of talents and passions, including football, chemistry, music and vintage cars. He is pictured in his beloved, bright yellow 1924, 30/98 Vauxhall vintage car earlier this year at the 50-year celebrations of the Hamilton and District Veteran, Vintage, Classic Driver’s Club, of which he was a founding member from 1970.
