Hospital welcomes first MRI patient 

THIS MRI machine has impacted the lives of 1011 people in the 12 months since it was installed at Hamilton Base Hospital on January 17 last year. The first patient to receive a scan was Balmoral resident James Parker in March, being assisted into the scanner by Bendigo Radiology radiographer, Rob Medway, with (seated) GE Healthcare ANZ MRI applications specialist, Xiaojuan (Joyce) He, and MRI & CT modality manager, Howard Delahunty.
