Zippy comes to visit the kids

AUTHOR and former Hamilton woman Lee-Ann Kim wrote a book for children, ‘The Story about a Zippy’ to be used as a creative arts resource for children’s learning and growing and was in Hamilton to give away copies of her book and homemade Zippy character toys, for free. Hamilton (Gray Street) Primary School Grade 6 student voice leaders, Leila Robertson and Oliver Chandler, both 11, were delighted to receive a copy of the book and toy Zippy on behalf of their fellow students. FORMER Hamilton woman Lee-Ann Kim visited several local kindergartens and primary schools on Monday to freely gift copies of her authored book, ‘The Story about a Zippy’, accompanied by homemade sensory toys of the story’s characters.
