MACBETH said “let every man be master of his time” but it seems the clock repairers at the Hamilton Post Office didn’t heed the Shakespearian advice – noticed in town this week was a severe conflict in correct time on the northern face, opposite Gray Street. A workman on site said a minor error inside the tower led to the ongoing inaccuracy and it could potentially be up to two months before a qualified technician will arrive in town to put the clock right.
