WELL-known in the district through his business, Hamilton City Motors, Ron Fort (right) persisted with brands such as Peugeot, Land Rover, Hyundai and Renault in a tough market – and succeeded. RON Fort was born in Hamilton on July 17, 1934, to be the son of Gladys and Keith Fort, and younger brother of Phyllis.
