FROM PENSHURST TO TIMOR-LESTE

A DESIRE to study “the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of things occurring in the natural world” led Campbell Watt (left) from his family home in Penshurst to study Agricultural Science in Wagga Wagga, NSW and, more recently, a two-week trip to Timor-Leste to see first-hand the socioeconomic issues affecting their farming industry. EXPERIENCING the resilient agricultural systems in Timor-Leste has not only made Campbell Watt grateful for living in a first-world country such as Australia but inspired a new passion to help others thrive.
