Crime stats see sharp increase 

CRIME is up in the Southern Grampians with the latest statistics showing a dramatic rise of 26.6 per cent in the number of criminal incidents recorded for the year ending March 31, 2024, compared to the year before. CRIMINAL incidents in the Southern Grampians have risen sharply by 26.6 per cent for the year ending March 2024, with 941 criminal incidents compared to 743 for the same time of year last year (ending March).
