Council elect Heslin for mayor 

FIRST-time Southern Grampians Shire councillor, Dennis Heslin of Penshurst was thrilled to be elected unopposed as mayor for a one-year term at Wednesday night’s statutory meeting. “I’ll enjoy the challenges,” Cr Heslin said. ON Wednesday, November 20 at 5.30pm a statutory meeting which lasted less than 20 minutes was held to elect the new Southern Grampians Shire Council (SGSC) mayor.
