New Year’s Eve fireworks to launch off water 

NEW Year’s Eve fireworks will kick off again this year on Tuesday, December 31 at 10pm, but instead of Melville Oval (left image), Lake Hamilton will be an excellent new setting, if the (right) image taken at long range at last year’s show is any indication. Kiri Handreck from Kiri’s Images captured the fireworks from the lake, and the reflections and light show launched at closer range from a pontoon is likely to be a spectacular welcome to 2025.
