Earthworks start at Melville Oval
EARTHWORKS started this week at Melville Oval to prepare for the construction of two new netball courts and a pavilion as part of the facilities redevelopment project for the oval.
Addinsall shines on world stage
ZOE Addinsall competed in the 2023 UIPM World National Laser Run Championships in Bath UK, at the end of August, and while not claiming a podium finish she did shine by finishing in the Under-17 girls event, and ninth in the Under-17 Mixed relay with Max Clarke.

THE latest round of funding from the Southern Grampians Shire Council (SGSC) Community Partnership Grants, has seen sporting bodies gain access to money from the Shire that will help refurbish tired facilities, update scoreboards and in the case of the Hamilton Speedway Drivers club, help stage the Australian Street Stock titles in March 2024.

GLENELG Region Hockey Association capped off its 2023 season with an outstanding night of grand finals at Brian Roberts Field on Friday, with Bulls overcoming arch rivals, Rams to lift the men’s Division One premiership trophy after winning 2-0.
St Mary’s celebrate grand final success
ST MARY’S basketball club couldn’t fail in the Hamilton basketball Association women’s division one grand final on Wednesday night, as the club had two teams competing for the premiership: Orange and Black, with Orange winning 34-26.
