HAMILTON Kangaroos Division three team has won a thrilling grand final against Terang-Mortlake at Reid Oval in overtime on Saturday, 38-36, after scores were tied at the sound of the siren to end the fourth quarter.

Addinsall shines on world stage
ZOE Addinsall competed in the 2023 UIPM World National Laser Run Championships in Bath UK, at the end of August, and while not claiming a podium finish she did shine by finishing in the Under-17 girls event, and ninth in the Under-17 Mixed relay with Max Clarke.

THE latest round of funding from the Southern Grampians Shire Council (SGSC) Community Partnership Grants, has seen sporting bodies gain access to money from the Shire that will help refurbish tired facilities, update scoreboards and in the case of the Hamilton Speedway Drivers club, help stage the Australian Street Stock titles in March 2024.

VICTORIA has claimed another national title with victory in the 9th Australian Bowling Arm Championships, which were held in Tasmania, and Simon Cullinane (Dunkeld) and Mick Swann (Heywood) were members of the team that lifted the trophy.
